Waste Coordinator

POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position will be responsible for performing onsite waste management. This would include but is not limited to: Maintaining the site waste tracking spreadsheet daily Preparing shipments to SET and other established waste vendors Being the point of contact person if there are compliance related issues regarding waste Housekeeping in 90 Day Waste Storage Area, including required inspections, and quality control of outgoing loads prior to leaving the site to ensure load is acceptable per DOT regulations as well as the tracking of the material once it leaves the site up until the return manifest copy is received Perform weekly visual inspections of items such as but not limited to Satellite Accumulation Areas, perform sampling, and maintaining waste management supplies such as drums and spill response materials Be a subject matter expert in areas concerning waste management and interact with different Athlon labs on a daily basis via phone, email, and/or in meetings Other duties assigned as needed
