Nurse Midwife

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) - Hospitalist to provide labor and delivery coverage and gynecologic emergency coverage at multiple hospital locations throughout New York's Hudson Valley region. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNM who is comfortable working in a high-volume, high-acuity hospital setting and thrives in a collaborative care environment.

Key Responsibilities: Provide labor and delivery call coverage in hospital-based settings. Manage and support patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum care. Provide gynecologic emergency coverage for hospital patients as needed. Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Required Qualifications: Current New York State Registered Nurse and Nurse Midwife licensure. Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) Certification required. Demonstrated experience in labor and delivery care. Comfortable working in a high-volume, high-acuity L&D environment. Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage urgent and emergent situations. Clean professional and malpractice history (no medical malpractice claims).Schedule Approximately 6 to 8 shifts per month.24-hour shifts. Work Locations Coverage will be provided at one hospital location per shift. Assignments may vary based on staffing needs.
