ITAD Sorting Associate

What You’ll Be Doing: As an ITAD Sorting Associate, you’ll play a key role in ensuring electronic devices and components are sorted, logged, and prepared for their next chapter.

Your responsibilities include: Sorting, categorizing, labeling, and logging incoming electronic devices and components. Identifying components by type and model, including CPUs, RAM, hard drives, SSDs, chargers, and cables. Accurately recording device information (model, serial number, specs) in our inventory system. Supporting the testing and e-commerce teams with basic tasks. Keeping the warehouse and work areas clean and organized.

What We’re Looking For: No prior work experience? No problem! We’ll provide training to help you succeed. Here’s what we value in our ideal candidate: Basic knowledge of computers and components, including: Recognizing Intel Core i 3/i 5/i 7, Xeon, AMD Ryzen CPUs, and identifying CPU generations. Differentiating between DDR3, DDR4, and DDR5 RAM, and identifying laptop vs. desktop memory. Distinguishing HDDs from SSDs (SATA, M.2, NVMe) and reading capacity. Recognizing major brands like Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Apple, and locating model and serial numbers. Basic computer skills, such as Excel or data entry. Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderately heavy equipment. A short, hands-on identification test will be part of the interview process.
