Certified Painter / Surface Refinishing Specialist

Minimum Qualifications: Must have an active and current CSLB license applicable to the work being performed. Demonstrated professional experience in bathtub, sink, countertop, shower, and vanity refinishing. Experience working with porcelain and fiberglass surfaces. Knowledge of surface preparation, sanding, masking, ventilation, primers, bonding agents, coatings, glazing, curing, and final cleanup. Experience repairing chips, cracks, heavy wear, fiberglass damage, and damaged coatings. Ability to remove old coatings and prepare surfaces for new refinishing systems. Must produce clean, durable, professional-quality finishes. Familiarity with safe handling and application of refinishing chemicals and coatings. Must have appropriate tools and equipment required for refinishing work. Reliable transportation and ability to travel to project locations within San Diego County. Commercial, multifamily, apartment, hotel, or public-sector refinishing experience is preferred.
