Project Engineer- Austin, TX

Location: Austin, Texas Our client, a national Heavy Highway General Contractor, is currently recruiting for a 2-Year Project Engineer to support heavy highway and civil construction projects in the Austin area. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) required 2+ years of experience in Heavy Highway / Civil construction Strong ability to prioritize with a detail-oriented mindset

Responsibilities: Assist and act as a liaison between subcontractors, superintendents, and foremen Support preparation of project cost reports and pay estimates Assist with CPM scheduling Manage and track submittals and RFIs Support day-to-day project coordination and documentation Preferred Knowledge Grading and paving Bridge construction Retaining walls Drainage systems Advancement opportunities available Base salary starting at $85,000, dependent on experience
