Duties: Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing, manage labor progression, assist with deliveries and respond to obstetric emergencies; administer medications, perform cervical exams within scope, interpret fetal monitoring strips, prepare patients for operative deliveries and provide postpartum education

Skills: Strong clinical judgement, effective communication, emotional support for patients and families
