Apply for this role →Leading the onboarding team, the full-time remote Accounting Onboarding Manager will oversee client onboarding processes, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and effective communication while managing a team of accountants across various client verticals.
Key responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of onboarding accountants, assigning work and reviewing output to maintain quality
Serve as the primary delivery lead for new clients, setting expectations and building trust from the start
Oversee retroactive accounting work, including catch-up bookkeeping and reconciliations, ensuring accurate and current books
Required qualifications:
5+ years of accounting experience, with significant time at the Senior Accountant level or above
Deep experience with catch-up and cleanup work, including managing messy or incomplete books
Experience with both for-profit and nonprofit accounting
Proficiency in Quick Books Online and/or Xero
Proven ability to manage a high volume of work at different stages simultaneously
