Route Delivery Truck Driver — Foodservice Distribution

US Foods is seeking a safety-focused Class A Delivery Driver to join our Transportation & Logistics team. In this performance-driven, customer-focused role, you will safely operate Class A equipment to deliver foodservice products to restaurants, healthcare, and hospitality customers. Responsibilities include conducting pre/post-trip inspections, managing delivery paperwork, unloading product using liftgates/hand trucks, and providing exceptional customer service. Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on assigned routes Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT standards Deliver foodservice products to restaurants, healthcare, and hospitality customers Unload product using liftgates, pallet jacks, and hand trucks Verify orders, obtain signatures, and manage delivery paperwork/EPOD Provide professional, customer-focused service at every stop Adhere to all DOT, company safety, and food handling guidelines Report vehicle issues, delays, and incidents promptly Maintain cleanliness and organization of truck and equipment Support continuous improvement and performance goals in a fast-paced environment Class A CDL truck operation Route navigation and trip planning DOT compliance and hours-of-service knowledge Vehicle inspection and basic troubleshooting Safe loading/unloading and product handling Use of liftgates, pallet jacks, and hand trucks Delivery documentation and electronic logs Time management and route efficiency Customer service and communication Knowledge of foodservice distribution Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A CDL Clean driving record (MVR) DOT medical card Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations Ability to operate pallet jacks and hand trucks Food/product handling knowledge Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly
