This is a unique program-building opportunity to lead a neurosurgery and endovascular program within a well-resourced system featuring comprehensive stroke centers, a dedicated Biplane Suite, and a 12-bed Neuro ICU. Practice Info
Hospital-employed, multi-campus health system with strong infrastructure and subspecialty support
Two strategically positioned campuses including a Primary Stroke Center and a Comprehensive Stroke Center
12-bed Neuro ICU, two EMUs, and a dedicated Biplane Suite
Procedure volume of 1-2 procedures per day (1 scheduled, 1 emergent)
Approximately 100 aneurysm cases per year
Facility capabilities include mechanical thrombectomy, elective aneurysm center designation, and designated Neurosciences Center across two campuses
Responsibilities:
Perform endovascular intervention, minimally invasive spine procedures, neurodiagnostics, nerve and muscle biopsies, and neurostimulation
Compensation
Guaranteed base salary with production bonus potential

Full time
Endovascular neurology call 10-15 days per month
General neurosurgery call approximately 1:4
Requirements:
MD or DO degree
Board eligible or board certified
Training in both neurosurgery and endovascular neurology
Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
Specialty focus in neurosurgery with endovascular focus; candidates trained in both neurosurgery and endovascular neurology, or endovascular neurology alone, will be considered
