Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of ICU best practices, ventilator management, and advanced monitoring equipment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care, monitor patients hemodynamic status, and respond to changes in condition swiftly
- Implement individualized care plans for critically ill patients according to physician orders and best-practice standards
- Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
- Administer medications, manage IV lines and infusions, and perform advanced procedures as indicated
- Perform ongoing assessments, document patient progress, and educate patients and families on treatments and transitions of care
- Adhere to all safety, quality, and infection control protocols
