The Supervisor, Academy & Adult Services oversees the day-to-dayoperations of The Academy and Adult Services programs at Tommy NobisCenter, which deliver vocational training, education, and employmentsupport services for young adults and adults with disabilities. This is a leadership role that manages daily service delivery —initially provided in a classroom environment with transition tocommunity-based internships and employment with wrap-around supportservices to retain employment — and supervises the team of EmploymentSpecialists, the Academy Instructor, and a Paraprofessional. This roleis also responsible for coordinating services with participants, families, and staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversees the daily operations of the Academy and Adult Servicesprograms delivered on-site and within the community, from time ofapplication/acceptance/referral to successful employment placement, and 90-days to 6-months post-employment coaching. Responsible for delivery of services and day-to-day scheduling ofthe Employment Specialists, Instructor, and Paraprofessional to ensureservices are provided at the highest level of quality. Responsible for acquiring service authorization and maintainingadequate reporting records for each participant receiving authorized services. Ensures participant case notes and monthly status reports areprepared and submitted timely by the Instructor, EmploymentSpecialists, and Paraprofessional, utilizing Vertex to report andrecord documentation of services delivered for billing purposes. Stewards excellent customer service and positive, productiverelationships with community partners, i.e., participants, parents, and GVRA Responsible for day-to-day management of staff including timecardentries, approving employee payroll and mileage, and annualperformance evaluations. Supports the monthly billing process by coordinating with the Programs Manager, Accounting, and program staff to ensure services areproperly authorized and billed accurately and timely. Assists in creating and sustaining a positive Academy culture, Alumni Network, and participant experience. Maintains accurate records for data metrics and demographic tracking. Educates the community regarding the Academy and Adult Services programs. Is a cultural ambassador for the organization fostering anenvironment of trust, alignment, transparency, and accountability. Communicates and interacts effectively and professionally withco-workers, management, customers, etc.

Qualifications
Education / Experience: Bachelor's Degree in education, special education, rehabilitation, sociology, behavioral sciences or business administration or related field. 1-2 years in a supervisory role, preferred. Experience with curriculum delivery. Experience teaching or working with individuals with disabilities preferred. Other Qualifications or Requirements: Mission driven, guided by core values and a pleasure to work with. High customer service orientation. Results oriented with ability to meet assigned deadlines. Must be highly organized, accurate in completing work assignments. Ability to maintain confidentiality with assigned duties. Possesses a working knowledge of Windows environment in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva. General knowledge of other office equipment such as copiers, scanners, etc. Must pass a drug screen and background check. Eligibility to work in the United States. Experience working with transition-age youth or adults with disabilities. Delivery of job readiness skills training. Developing programmatic marketing materials.
