Vice President of Demand Generation

About the Role: The Company is seeking a Vice President of Demand Generation to build and lead a full-funnel demand generation function, setting strategy while contributing hands-on during the team's early growth. Responsibilities include developing inbound, outbound, account-based, and customer marketing programs; owning pipeline targets, paid media budgets, and performance reporting; and partnering with Sales on pipeline reviews, forecasting, lead handoffs, and account prioritization. The role will establish measurable event programs, create a disciplined testing roadmap, and apply AI to improve campaign effectiveness and team efficiency. It will also oversee demand-generation strategy across marketing systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align programs with the broader go-to-market approach. Candidates should have at least 10 years of B2B demand generation experience, including four or more years leading teams, and a record of scaling demand functions through significant growth. Required qualifications include experience building teams, managing budgets based on pipeline and payback, and leading both inbound and outbound programs. Applicants should be fluent in marketing automation and CRM systems, familiar with intent-data tools, and experienced in attribution, forecasting, and pipeline reporting in partnership with revenue operations. Strong analytical communication, sales alignment, and practical use of AI tools are essential; experience in vertical software or a scaling, investor-backed organization is preferred.
