Excellent practice needing a dentist to provide services to their patients. Immediate full-time hours available. Updated practice with newer equipment. Age ranges include children and adults. Excellent starting pay to help establish a new dentist. Responsibilities of the dentist include providing diagnosis of patient's dental status utilizing accepted clinical and radiological techniques, assessing patient's dental status and arranging for appropriate consultations to determine treatment needed, providing comprehensive professional dental treatment to address the oral health needs of patients, providing routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, and fluoride treatments, referring to dental specialists when appropriate, managing administrative functions of the dental office, and supervising the work of dental hygienists and dental assistants. Requirements of the dentist include a DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school, a VA license and DEA, willingness to live and be part of the community of Lynchburg, VA, competence in all facets of general dentistry, and a strong focus on clinical excellence.
