About the role: The National Museum and Center for Service is seeking a creative Volunteer Storyteller to help elevate inspiring impact stories for a national audience. In this role, you will transform real-life community experiences into compelling written narratives. Your work will be featured on our official website, shared through our communication channels, and distributed across our national networks to highlight the power of service.
Key responsibilities: Conduct engaging interviews with individuals driving positive change in their communities. Draft inspiring, publication-ready blog posts celebrating stories of service from across the country. Follow NMCFS communication guidelines and style standards to ensure consistent brand voice. Craft digital content optimized for web readership and online network sharing. What we provide Direct Connections: Warm introductions and leads for featured individuals—no cold outreach required. Editorial Support: Clear communication templates, style resources, and brand guidance. Qualifications: Strong written communication, storytelling, and editing capabilities. Comfort conducting virtual or phone interviews with diverse community leaders. How to apply: This flexible, remote opportunity requires approximately 3-6 hours per story project.
