Commercial Project Manager

Role Description: The Commercial Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Area. This role oversees commercial construction projects from concept through completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating project planning, managing timelines and milestones, tracking budgets and costs, and supervising contractors and subcontractors. The Commercial Project Manager reviews contracts and change orders, monitors construction progress, resolves issues, and communicates regularly with clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders. The role also involves maintaining documentation, supporting quality and safety initiatives, and using project management tools and BIM-related processes to optimize project performance.

Qualifications: Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating project data, schedules, risks, and performance metrics. Excellent Communication abilities for collaborating with clients, internal teams, subcontractors, and partners. Budgeting and Finance skills to manage project costs, forecasts, and financial reporting. Contract Management experience for reviewing, negotiating, and administering contracts and change orders. Experience in commercial construction project management, including ground-up and renovation projects. Knowledge of construction processes, scheduling software, and familiarity with BIM or similar technologies. Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on job sites. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams and make timely decisions.
