Business Analyst III

Job Description: Insight Global is Seeking a qualified Business Analyst III to support a long-term (6–10 year) Smart Metering Program focused on deploying next-generation gas metering infrastructure and systems across multiple states for a large utility company in Houston, Texas. This individual will be responsible for gathering and analyzing requirements across multiple workstreams, evaluating current business processes, and identifying opportunities to automate, standardize, and improve overall deployment and operational efficiency. The role involves close collaboration with project teams, operations, and program leadership to ensure solutions meet business needs, while serving as a liaison between stakeholders and end users. Responsibilities include leading meetings and presentations, documenting and communicating findings, aligning deployment dependencies, tracking progress against milestones, and supporting change management efforts. The Business Analyst will also contribute to IT-focused workstreams by supporting data mapping initiatives (e.g., client server applications to SAP), developing integration and user acceptance test plans, validating meter data across systems, and guiding testing and standardization best practices. Additionally, this role will monitor stakeholder changes, maintain metering procedures and best practices, prioritize initiatives based on business needs, and drive continuous process improvement strategies to support the long-term success of the program.
