Nuclear Medicine and Cardiac CT Technologist

Perform nuclear myocardial perfusion imaging with SPECT and/or PET and coronary CT angiography and other CT examinations. Prepare and monitor patients, establish IV access, administer contrast and radiopharmaceuticals within protocols, process and review images, and maintain radiation safety, equipment quality control, and documentation. Perform myocardial perfusion imaging using SPECT and/or PET technology. Perform coronary CT angiography and other CT examinations using established protocols. Review patient histories and prepare patients for imaging exams. Monitor patients during procedures and provide appropriate care. Establish IV access and administer contrast, radiopharmaceuticals, and oral cardiac medications within protocols and scope of practice. Process and reconstruct images, review quality, and maintain radiation safety, equipment quality control, and required documentation.
