Supply Chain Analyst (Contract)Drive Data-Driven Supply Chain Decisions in a Complex Manufacturing Environment Our client, a growing global manufacturer, is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst for a contract opportunity supporting reporting, operational analytics, and business decision-making. This role is ideal for an analytical professional who enjoys working with large datasets, building meaningful reports, and uncovering insights that improve supply chain performance. This position offers the opportunity to partner with operations and supply chain leaders while providing critical reporting and analysis that supports business objectives.
Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and enhance recurring supply chain and operational reports Analyze large datasets to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement Perform ad hoc reporting and business analysis to support leadership requests Consolidate information from multiple data sources and transform it into actionable insights Validate, troubleshoot, and improve existing reporting tools and spreadsheets Interpret complex data and communicate findings to business stakeholders Support inventory, purchasing, logistics, manufacturing, and operational reporting initiatives Assist with data management and process improvement projects Ensure reporting accuracy and data integrity across multiple systems
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required Preferred fields: Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or a related discipline 2+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, business analytics, operations analysis, reporting, or a related field Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required, including XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Complex formulas Data validation and reconciliation Ability to understand, troubleshoot, and improve existing spreadsheets and formulas Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience working with large datasets and multiple reporting sources Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or operations environment Familiarity with ERP systems Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence toolsVBA/Macro development experience is highly desirable Experience automating manual reporting processes
