I'm working on an opportunity with a leading global venture capital firm managing tens of billions in assets and investing across AI, enterprise software, fintech, healthcare, cybersecurity, and more. They're looking for a Fund Accountant with 1.5–4 years of relevant experience who wants more than just a close process — someone eager to build expertise across complex fund structures, investment activity, and LP operations while working closely with experienced team members and senior leadership.
What You'll Do:
- Maintain fund general ledgers and record investment activity, expenses, accruals, and valuation changes
- Manage monthly bank reconciliations and process investment and expense wires
- Prepare quarterly fund financial statements and close packages
- Calculate partner capital allocations, capital calls, and distributions
- Track investment data and reconcile investment details to cap tables
- Maintain LP records and process LP interest transfers
- Respond to investor inquiries and distribute financial statements, K-1s, and investor notices
