Cardiothoracic SurgeonThe Cardiothoracic Surgeon will: Perform a range of cardiothoracic surgical proceduresParticipate in inpatient and outpatient care (rounding and clinic) Take shared on-call responsibilities (10–12 days/month including 2 weekends/month) Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary medical teamUse the EPIC EMR system for documentation and coordination of careSee an average of ~20 patients per dayContribute to building the Cardiothoracic Surgery program by joining as the second surgeonParticipate in call and emergency surgical coverageNot open to: New graduates or truly Board Eligible candidatesAPPs (Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants) Candidates with lapsed Board Certification in Cardiothoracic SurgeryCandidates commuting more than 1 hour or working multiple jobs concurrentlyH-1B visa candidates (J1 visa sponsorship only) Submission RequirementsAll of the following should be noted in additional submission details.
