Production Associate - Widow Jane Distillery

Production Associate This position is onsite and based at Widow Jane Distillery in Red Hook, Brooklyn. This is a full time role working Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. Widow Jane Distillery is looking for a hands-on Production Associate to support the daily production of our whiskeys at our distillery in Red Hook, Brooklyn. This role works closely with the operations and production teams across mashing, fermentation, cleaning, inventory, and general distillery operations. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a physical production environment, has a strong commitment to cleanliness and safety, and can consistently follow established processes and standard operating procedures. How You Will Spend Your Time? Mandatory to safely operate company vehicles, including a box truck, to transport production materials and inventory as needed Safely operate a forklift for moving, loading, unloading, and organizing materials and inventory Clean and sanitize production tanks, following established cleaning procedures Maintain a strong general-cleaning mindset and take ownership of the cleanliness and organization of production areas Complete daily cleaning routines for production rooms, tools, tanks, hoses, valves, and other production equipment Safely handle, measure, and use cleaning chemicals according to established safety procedures and guidelines
