We are recruiting for a Staff Accountant to join a stable, growing, family-owned manufacturing company in the Kent area. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity reporting directly to the Controller. We’re looking for someone with at least 3 years of hands-on accounting experience who is comfortable working across multiple areas of the accounting function.
Responsibilities include:
- Accounts Receivable (A/R), including invoicing, payment application, account research, and collections support
- Accounts Payable (A/P), including invoice processing, coding, and payment support
- General Ledger (GL) accounting and journal entries
- Bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end close
- Researching and resolving account discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
- Preparing reports and supporting the Controller with additional accounting projects as needed
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with A/R, A/P, GL, and reconciliations
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and month-end processes
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with accounting/ERP systems
- Manufacturing experience is highly preferred
- Strong attention to accuracy and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Salary: $70,000–$80,000 DOE
Location: Kent, WA
Schedule: 100% onsite
