Job Description:
Purpose Statement: Provide assistance in the administration of our child nutrition program in accordance with district, local, state and federal policies and regulations, to ensure nutrition and financial integrity of the program.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; associates degree in related field preferred; minimum of 3 years experience in similar position. Knowledge/Experience in how to use and or file the following: Virtual Gateway, Direct Certification Process, Verification Process, Accuclaim checks and report, processing Free & Reduced Lunch Applications, Quarterly Profit & Loss Reports to DESE, End of Year Report to DESE, Process on the use of commodity food & DOD Fresh. Must be familiar with regulations from USDA and MA DESE for school food service operations; How to place orders for food, produce, supplies, do returns & apply for credits using vendors that have won bids; Process bank deposits.
Job Requirements:
- At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
- High School/Trade School degree preferred.
