Apply for this role (opens in a new tab)Crafting Content Creator (Full-Time, Remote) Pixyls | Remote, anywhere in the world About PixylsPixyls makes premium sticker-by-number kits, scene canvases, bookmarks, desk friends and puzzle books. Every design is drawn by an independent human artist, never AI. People build our kits as a screen-free creative reset, and they turn into art worth hanging on the wall. We're based in Toronto, sell across Canada, the US and internationally, and we're growing fast.
The role:
You'll be the hands, eyes and creative brain behind our social content, filming from your own space wherever you are in the world. We'll ship you every new product. You'll craft with our kits, build little sets out of props, film what makes our products satisfying, and edit it into videos people can't scroll past. You'll work closely with the founder and the marketing team, and your videos will show up on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and in our ads.
What you'll do:
- Craft with our products on camera: peeling, placing, building and revealing finished pieces
- Plan and film short-form videos every week, including ASMR, process, comedy, trend and lifestyle content
- Style shots with props, backdrops and lighting so every frame feels warm and editorial
- Edit fast and well, with strong hooks, good pacing, captions, sound and trending audio
- Keep up with trends on TikTok and Instagram and turn them into on-brand ideas
- Be one of the first to get your hands on new products and figure out how to make people want them
- Make content for new drops and our big seasonal moments (Valentine's, summer, fall and Christmas)
- Work with our paid team to turn top organic videos into ad versions
- Post, schedule and keep track of what's performing, then make more of what works
- You'll be a great fit if you
- Get genuinely excited when a new product shows up and can't wait to open it and try itLove trying new things: new formats, new trends, new crafts, new ideas
- Treat a video that flops as useful information, not a setback, and try again
- Bring ideas to the table without waiting to be asked
- Are curious, positive and fun to make things with
- Like a fast-moving small team where plans change and everyone pitches inYou'll love this job if you
- Genuinely love crafting and would do it on a Sunday anyway
- Get excited about filming, lighting and finding the perfect angle
- Love playing with props and building little scenes
- Find editing videos fun, not a chore
- Notice the tiny details that make a video satisfying to watch
What we're looking for:
- A portfolio or social account that shows short-form videos you've filmed and edited (this matters more than your resume)
- Strong skills in CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar
- Comfortable filming with a phone and/or camera, and with basic lighting
- A space at home where you can film, with good light and a reliable internet connection
- Good grasp of what works on TikTok and Instagram Reels
- Organized and self-directed, able to deliver a steady flow of content each week without someone looking over your shoulder
- Clear, quick communication on Slack, and some overlap with North American working hours
Bonus:
on-camera comfort (hands or face), ASMR experience, photography, or experience at a DTC or craft brand Why PixylsWork from anywhere in the world Your work is seen by thousands of people every week Real creative freedom, with your ideas on the calendar A small, warm team that cares about craft Every new product shipped to your door, and all the kits you could ever want
