The Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation protects and empowers consumers through advocacy and education and ensures a fair playing field for the Massachusetts businesses its agencies regulate. The legal internship is full-time (37.5 hours a week). A hybrid work schedule is available. Compensation for this internship is $21 per hour. The internship program will run from the present through mid-May 2027. Interviews will be held in-person and/or virtually. Legal interns are supervised by our General Counsel. OCABR Legal Internship Provides Experience in the Following: Assisting the general counsel in the daily activities of the office. Researching relevant legal topics in the field of consumer protection. Reviewing and updating regulations. Reviewing potential statutory changes. Assisting with public record requests. Reviewing home improvement contractor complaints. Assisting hearing officers in drafting decisions, and other assignments.
