Pharmacy Manager - Bronx, NY$145,000 to $155,000 + 10% bonus potential Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm (half hour lunch). No weekends. Most major holidays off. Immediate start.
The Role: We're hiring a Pharmacy Manager for a busy retail pharmacy in the Bronx. You'll run the pharmacy day to day: oversee dispensing accuracy, manage the technician team, keep inventory tight, and stay on top of compliance. If you want a manager seat with real ownership and a schedule that doesn't eat your weekends, this is it.
What You'll Do:
  • Oversee daily pharmacy operations and workflow
  • Supervise, schedule, and develop pharmacy staff and technicians
  • Ensure accurate dispensing and patient counseling
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and controlled substance records
  • Maintain full compliance with NYS Board of Pharmacy, DEA, and HIPAA requirements
  • Handle insurance billing issues, prior authorizations, and third party claims
  • Build relationships with patients and local prescribers
  • What You NeedActive New York State Pharmacist license (or license eligible)
  • PharmD or BS in Pharmacy3 to 4 years of experience as a Pharmacy Manager
  • Retail pharmacy background
  • Comfortable leading a team and running a high volume workflow
  • Big Plus
  • Clinical experience (immunizations, MTM, point of care testing, disease state management)
  • Experience with retail pharmacy management systems
