Leading the accounting organization for a rapidly growing technology company, the full-time CPA Licensed VP of Accounting will manage financial reporting, compliance, and controls while building a high-performing team in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
Set the strategy, structure, and priorities for the accounting organization as the company scales
Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
Design and maintain an internal control environment to achieve SOX readiness and manage external audit relationships
Required qualifications:
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles
CPA license
Experience in building and scaling accounting functions at high-growth technology or SaaS companies
Deep expertise in US GAAP and financial reporting
Proven ability to lead external audits and present financial results to executives and boards
