Pay: $27.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience

About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a skilled and mechanically inclined Machine Operator to join a well-established, family-run manufacturing company with an outstanding workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating CNC or screw machines and be comfortable performing tool changeovers, first-part runs, machine setup, and production operations. Key Responsibilities:
Operate production machinery safely and efficiently while maintaining quality and productivity standards. Perform tool changeovers and make adjustments as necessary to keep machines running efficiently. Complete first-part runs and verify parts meet print and quality specifications before beginning production. Perform machine setup and prepare equipment for production runs. Monitor machines during operation and identify issues or abnormalities. Make basic machine adjustments to maintain part quality and production requirements. Use precision measuring equipment to inspect parts and verify dimensions. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and manufacturing specifications. Troubleshoot basic mechanical and machine-related issues. Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized. Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures. Work independently while communicating effectively with the production and maintenance teams. Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
Preferred Experience:
Experience operating screw machines strongly preferred. Experience in bolt making, fastener manufacturing, or similar high-volume machining is a significant plus. Experience with CNC or other production machinery. Hands-on experience with tool changeovers and machine setups. Experience running first parts and making machine adjustments. Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments. Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and blueprints. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Manufacturing or machining experience preferred.
