Position Overview: The Institutional Partnership Manager will coordinate and strengthen Learnvia's relationships with prospective faculty and institutional partners, ensuring that complex partnerships move from interest to successful implementation and renewal. The manager will achieve adoption targets within an assigned region or segment, including new sales and renewals, by effectively planning, promoting and selling Learnvia’s courseware products and services and by effectively utilizing marketing tools and strategies to maximize outcomes. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Lead, the Partnership Manager will serve as a central point of coordination for designated faculty and institutional partnerships, maintaining a clear understanding of each partner's goals, commitments, stakeholders, timelines, and opportunities for deeper engagement. Key responsibilities include establishing contact, qualifying leads, scheduling demos, responding to questions, regular and proactive communication, and securing a commitment to adopt the courseware. This individual will also collect key market intelligence and provide relevant feedback to the Learnvia team. The ideal candidate is someone who is highly collaborative and understands higher education, enjoys building relationships, and can move comfortably between external partner engagement and behind-the-scenes execution.
Key Responsibilities: Develop a thorough understanding of each assigned institution, including its goals for gateway mathematics, participating courses and departments, key stakeholders, implementation context, broader strategic priorities, and any additional challenges and adoption criteria. Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate a comprehensive sales strategy to maximize product adoption and retention. Proactively plan and schedule calls to ensure maximum efficiency when engaging with potential courseware adopters. Utilize Hubspot and other relevant tools to effectively execute the plan for each academic term and courseware product. Cultivate a strong understanding of postsecondary math curriculum and tools, teaching methodologies, and the overall higher education environment. Gain deep expertise in Learnvia's courseware products and services, effectively articulating their benefits to instructors; stay current on competitor products, including their strengths, weaknesses, and overall market activity. Serve as the primary point of contact between the faculty or institution and Learnvia. Maintain required call rates to meet courseware adoption targets. Track institutional engagement and identify risks, unmet needs, emerging opportunities, and issues requiring escalation. Work with Faculty Success to coordinate institutional needs while preserving Faculty Success's ownership of faculty implementation, professional learning, and ongoing teaching support. Support Research in coordinating institutional participation in research and continuous-improvement activities where applicable. Ensure a smooth and successful handoff and onboarding experience for all systems, institutions, and instructors, including initiating LTI setup and other technical processes.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred in Education, Math, Computer Science, Educational Technology, or a closely related field. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.5+ years of outside sales experience, ideally within the higher education, edtech, or start-up sectors. One or more years of experience working directly with math faculty. Demonstrated success in sales, specifically within an education technology environment. Technical proficiency for using marketing technology, creating outreach, generating reports, and performing data analysis. Proven ability to cultivate strong relationships and understand the unique needs of instructors, institutions, and learners. Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and follow-through. A strong understanding of business operations, marketing, and sales. Location & Salary The salary range for this full-time role is $95,000-125,000 based on experience and qualifications.
