Licensed Psychologist Manager, Corrections - SCI Greene

As a Licensed Psychologist Manager, Corrections with the Department of Corrections (DOC), you will play a key leadership role in driving strong mental health services at the State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Greene. This position gives you the opportunity to supervise staff, manage clinical programs, and respond to the needs of inmates with professionalism and care. DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position focuses on managing psychological services, supervising clinical staff, and guiding treatment decisions for inmates. It involves overseeing evaluations, directing mental health programs, and delivering services. As a Licensed Psychologist Manager, Corrections, you will perform the following duties: Clinical Supervision: Direct psychological staff, guide diagnostic work, and support therapeutic interventions for inmates Program Leadership: Develop policies, integrate new procedures, and lead key mental health service initiatives Committee Oversight: Chair review teams, coordinate mental health discussions, and support critical response efforts Competency Management: Set clinical standards, evaluate measures, and update stability ratings as needed Diagnostic Review: Assess test interpretations and prepare comprehensive psychological and behavioral reports Specialized Consultation: Advise staff on mental health treatment needs, support specialized units, discuss management plans, and testify in legal proceedings Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute paid lunch.
