Job Description:
Healthcare Organization is seeking Strong exp. candidate for Finance Director role. Candidates must possess Healthcare Plans experience, managed care and insurance a must. Finance Director plans, provides resources and directs activities for enterprise-wide provider financial analysis and provides analytics for strategic and operating decisions.
Essential Functions:
- Leads contract modeling process
- Manages financial analysis of medical cost
- Manages companywide capitation calculation and payment
- Administers risk contracts
- Provides ad-hoc analysis for senior management
- Manages and develops direct reports who include other management or supervisory personnel and/or exempt individual contributors
- Plans, conducts and directs work on complex projects/programs necessitating the origination and application of new and unique approaches
- Develops strategies and ensures maximum efficiencies in the utilization of human and financial resources
- Ensures corporate initiatives are implemented to achieve optimum results
- Advises management in long-range planning for areas of specialization
- Provides technical direction to functional managers, other directors and management
- Recommends changes in area(s) policy and procedure
Education/Experience:
MBA or CPASubstantial healthcare financial management experience Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
