We’re seeking a dedicated SLP to support K–12 students with developmental disabilities in a school-based setting. You’ll have the opportunity to help students build communication skills, increase independence, and succeed academically and socially—all while enjoying a 10-month school-year schedule with June and July off!⭐ Why You’ll Love This Opportunity 10-month school-year schedule — August through May June & July completely off Potential sign-on bonus Relocation assistance may be available Supportive, multidisciplinary team environment Work with diverse learners, including AAC users Meaningful, student-centered work Directly impact students and families Predictable schedule designed for excellent work-life balance📋 What You’ll DoProvide speech and language services to K–12 students Conduct assessments and evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Write evaluation reports and contribute to IEP development Program, monitor, and maintain AAC devices and communication systems Collaborate with teachers, OTs, PTs, and families Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation Complete Medicaid billing and required service records Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings Promote functional communication, independence, and classroom participation🎯
Qualifications
Required:
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Arizona SLP License Arizona Department of Education Certificate Ability to obtain an AHCCCS Provider Number and NPIStrong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Preferred:
Arizona Hearing Screening Certificate Experience with AAC devices and communication systems Experience working with students with developmental disabilities🏫
Work Environment:
