Analytical Scientist

Pay: Up to $45/hour

Type: Contract to hire

Location: Middlesex County, NJRESPONSIBILITIES:Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing of raw materials, in-process materials, finished products, and stability samples. Execute analytical methods using a variety of laboratory instrumentation and techniques. Support method transfers and method verification activities; assist with method validation as needed. Perform analytical testing related to equipment cleaning verification and validation. Prepare and review analytical documentation, Certificates of Analysis, and laboratory reports. Review laboratory data and documentation for accuracy and compliance with established procedures. Support OOS/OOT investigations and troubleshooting of analytical results. Follow SOPs, cGMP requirements, pharmacopeial standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. Assist with environmental monitoring and other laboratory activities as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.2+ years of hands-on analytical laboratory experience with small molecule experience. Hands-on experience with HPLC/UPLC, GC, UV, FTIR, Karl Fischer (KF), and particle size analysis. Method transfer and/or method verification experience; method validation experience is a plus. Working knowledge of cGMPs and USP/EP pharmacopeial standards. Strong documentation, data review, and analytical troubleshooting skills.
