Job Description The Automobile Mechanic will perform comprehensive maintenance and repair services on passenger cars, light trucks, and heavy duty trucks within a team-based environment. This role focuses on mechanical repairs using standard mechanical tools, emphasizing precision and efficiency without direct customer interaction.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues
- Perform engine repairs and routine oil changes
- Service and repair brake systems
- Execute diagnostic testing using mechanical tools
- Repair electrical systems and transmission components
- Replace worn or damaged parts accurately
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in automobile mechanics
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in engine repair and diagnostic tools
- Knowledge of electrical and brake systems
