Work Environment:
This position offers a remote work setting based in Wallkill, New York, giving you the flexibility to perform all duties from the comfort of your home while engaging with clients via teletherapy and secure digital platforms. Despite the remote nature of the position, you will have access to full administrative support, allowing you to concentrate on your clinical responsibilities and client interactions without the burden of administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and mentor practicum students on their paths to clinical licensure, providing constructive feedback and guidance on clinical skills.
Conduct psychotherapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to client needs.
Continuously evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on client progress and feedback, ensuring the delivery of personalized care.
Maintain accurate, confidential records and documentation in compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.
Engage in regular collaboration with fellow healthcare professionals and community resources to provide comprehensive care.
Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mental health to enhance therapeutic practices and client outcomes.
Patient Population / Client FocusOur clients include a diverse range of individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds and age groups. Many of our clients are navigating anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and life transitions. As a member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in providing them with the tools and strategies necessary for achieving mental wellness and resilience.
Qualifications:
A Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
Current state license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or LCSW-R.Active professional liability insurance.
A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience providing supervision or training to practicum students or interns. Familiarity with various therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).Experience working with a diverse clientele, including various socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.
Compensation and Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary range of $52,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
