Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students within a reputableschool district in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, you will workunder thesupervision of licensed speech-language pathologists toassist in thedelivery of speech, language, fluency, voice, andarticulationservices that support student success.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist speech-language pathologists in conducting screenings andassessments of language, articulation, fluency, voice, and hearing
  • Implement treatment plans and therapy protocols as directed bythe supervising speech-language pathologist
  • Monitor and document student progress toward therapy goals andreport findings accurately
  • Follow ASHA guidelines to ensure ethical, high-quality, andprofessional service delivery
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations, fittings, and adjustments forhearing aids and assistive listening devices
Requirements:
  • Completion of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant certificateprogram
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Minimum of 6 months of SLPA experience within the last 5 years
