This one comes with a client book, a proven blueprint and a profitable business behind it. The opportunity ~Our client is a specialist Financial and Professional Services search firm, founded in 2010 and part of a privately owned, multi-brand recruitment group. Their UK business has 55+ people and is highly profitable. They launched in the US in 2024, and the US business is already profitable and now investing in growth. They're hiring an experienced senior recruiter in New York to help build out their US Technology practice. You'd be one of the first hires in the team, backed by the infrastructure and client relationships of an established global business. Why this one is different ~Warm desk with an existing network of clients and relationships to work with. A UK Technology practice already exists, so you have a model to replicate rather than guesswork. You get cross-selling introductions across both the UK and US teams. The market is senior technology hires across investment management and private capital, so the fees are big. The clients include major global asset managers, private equity firms, private credit funds and alternative asset managers. You'll have real autonomy to shape the desk, and you'll work closely with senior leadership in both regions. The package ~Base salary: $100k - $120kCommission starts once you pass a threshold of 1.75x base, measured quarterly. After that, the tiers are:20% on billings from threshold to $400k40% on billings from $400k to $600k50% on billings above $600kFor context, billing $750k on a $110k base works out at a little over $300k total earnings. What you'll bring ~A track record of billing in technology recruitment, ideally into financial services, asset management or private markets. Experience working senior, mid-to-senior level searches.
