As universities rapidly adopt artificial intelligence, institutional leaders face a common challenge: how to enable innovation while maintaining governance, security, consistency, and visibility. Scholar Stack helps colleges and universities move beyond the modes of “off the shelf” and/or scattered AI experimentation by providing a unified platform for teaching, learning, research, and academic operations. Faculty use Scholar Stack to build AI-powered chat, voice, and learning experiences grounded in their own course materials. Institutional leaders gain the oversight, security, analytics, and governance needed to deploy AI responsibly at scale. If you're energized by building relationships, opening doors, and helping shape an early-stage company, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do:

Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand institutional priorities, current AI initiatives, and organizational fit. Schedule product demonstrations. Clearly communicate Scholar Stack's value proposition to academic and administrative stakeholders. Nurture early-stage opportunities through thoughtful follow-up and relationship building. Maintain accurate CRM records and track outreach activity, pipeline progress, and prospect engagement. Collaborate closely with sales and marketing to continuously improve messaging, campaigns, and outbound strategies. Help build and refine the sales playbook as Scholar Stack scales.
What We're Looking For:
2–4 years of experience in business development or sales. Demonstrated ability to generate and qualify new business opportunities. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Comfortable initiating conversations with academic and administrative leaders. Strong organizational skills. Experience using CRM platforms. Self-motivated, coachable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment. Interest in artificial intelligence, higher education, or education technology. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience preferred. You'll Thrive Here If You Enjoy building relationships and starting conversations with new people.
