Apply for this role →Our client, a leading investment management firm in the New York City area, is looking to add a Portfolio/Trade Review Consultant to their team! This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented, analytical professional to work closely with Compliance and Risk Management to help ensure trades are properly allocated across the firm's funds in line with investment guidelines and regulatory requirements. The role offers strong cross-functional exposure, partnering with Portfolio Management, Risk, Operations, Legal, Accounting, Tax, and Investor Relations teams.
Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing the daily trade allocation process, including designing and implementing rules and partnering with developers
- Developing reports and SQL diagnostics to test compliance with client investment restrictions, internal risk guidelines, and any associated regulatory requirements
- Supporting legal and tax reviews of trades across structured credit, bank loans, and other instruments
Requirements:
At least of one year of experience in trade review compliance for a hedge fund or asset management firm Strong capabilities in Microsoft Excel and SQLExcellent written and verbal communication skills
