LOCATIONAnnapolis Junction, MD Telework up to 16 hours/week (based on sprint tasking) CLEARANCE REQUIRED Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph SALARY RANGE $124,000 – $181,000/year WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Software Engineer I, you will: Develop, maintain, and enhance diverse software systems (analytics, real-time, large datasets, or business systems) Work individually or collaboratively in a team settingReview, test, and document software for design complianceDebug, enhance, or modify existing software systemsProvide input on hardware/software trade-offs and COTS/GOTS usePerform requirements analysis and system-level designIntegrate software into operational systems and environmentsDesign/implement database interfaces and algorithmsContribute to technical documentation and test planningCORE SKILLS Analyze user requirements to design software Debug code and resolve defects Recommend improvements to processes and documentation Design, implement, and integrate new features Develop data queries, document systems, and test components Modify existing software for performance, adaptation, or correction Use mathematical models to predict and measure system outcomesREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 7 years of Software Engineering experience on similarly scoped projects Bachelor's in Computer Science or related discipline (or 4 extra years of SWE experience in lieu of degree)
