Travel ICU Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

This position involves caring for patients who are critically ill and require detailed monitoring and advanced medical care. The role of an ICU RN is crucial in the management of patient care settings, providing care while ensuring emotional support to patients and their families during critical times. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor patient's condition, assess and interpret vital signs, and initiate remedial actions when needed. Administer medications, maintain proper fluid intake and output, and ensure that patients are comfortable and well-nourished. Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records of critical ICU procedures. Offer support and education to patients’ families, explaining conditions and treatment paths. Evaluate and adjust care within the culturally diverse environment tailoring approaches specifically to individual patient needs.
