Division/Program: Victorville: Desert Hill Crisis Residential Treatment
Starting Compensation: $60,000 - $64,480.00 USD Per Year Working Location: Victorville, CA
Working Hours/Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Rotating weekend schedule)

What You Bring to SBHGValid California Driver's License. Recent graduates are welcome. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Master's degree in psychology, social work, or another related mental health field. Registered with the Board of Behavioral Science as an Associate. Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW).First Aid certification from a qualified agency such as the American Red Cross. How You Will Make a Difference Assess clients at the start of treatment and review as needed. Develop and maintain treatment plans; conduct family collateral and discharge planning. Discuss goals and objectives of proposed treatment plans and establish a contract with the consumer. Interview consumers via walk‐in or telephone to determine needs or respond to potential suicide or other emergency events. Visit clients individually or with a team in various living situations to assess mental health needs, observe progress, provide counseling, gather data, and report significant changes in the client's condition to designated staff.
Division/Program Overview:
The Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) is a short‐term voluntary residential facility. Designed to help adult residents, ages 18‐59, who experience a psychiatric crisis to safely stabilize, recover, and transition back to the community.
Services include:
- 24/7 program
- Therapeutic and mental health services
- Rehabilitation/recovery services, including substance use rehabilitation services
- Pre‐vocational or vocational counseling
- Medication evaluation and support services
- Daily exercise and health/wellness education
