Senior Bioarchaeology Curator & Museum Scientist

The New York State Museum seeks a Museum Scientist 3 (Curator of Bioarchaeology) to provide osteological expertise within the Anthropology Department. The curator will manage the museum's human remains collection and support compliance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act and NYS Unmarked Burial Site Protection Act. The role involves conducting independent research, developing public programming and exhibitions, and may supervise lower-level staff.
