CNC Set Up Operator (02132)

Location: Stoughton, MA

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Shift: 1st Shift

Responsibilities Include: Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision-machined components. Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and adjustments as needed. Utilize Fanuc controls to operate and adjust CNC equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and machining specifications. Use precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and calipers, to inspect finished parts. Monitor machining operations to ensure accuracy and consistent quality. Perform routine quality checks and make necessary adjustments to maintain tolerances. Troubleshoot basic machining issues and communicate concerns to supervisors. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications Include: Previous experience operating and setting up CNC machines required. Experience with Fanuc CNC controls required. Ability to accurately use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools required. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Understanding of machining processes, tooling, and dimensional tolerances. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment. Experience with CNC milling, turning, or multi-axis machining is a plus. Experience reading or making basic adjustments to G-code is a plus.
