School Accountant

Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable School Accountant (Part or Full Time/ Remote) to oversee our daily financial operations, budgeting, and financial reporting. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining fiscal responsibility and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities: Financial Management & Accounting: Maintain accurate general ledger accounts, manage accounts payable/receivable, and perform monthly bank reconciliations. Payroll: Process staff, teacher and contractor payroll through an online payroll system. Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements. Compliance & Auditing: Prepare financial documentation for annual audits. Tuition & Billing: Oversee student tuition collection, billing adjustments, and payment plan tracking.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, (Required)

Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years of general accounting experience.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with accounting software in QuickBooks and Excel.
