Microbiology Technician

Key Responsibilities: Prepare equipment and supplies for laboratory testing Perform routine and investigational environmental monitoring: collect air, surface, personnel, and utility samples in cleanrooms Document sample collection, testing, and results per SOPs and good documentation practices Incubate and read samples; enter data into GLIMSOperate and troubleshoot lab equipment (e.g., Met One, air samplers)Perform WFI testing (bioburden, endotoxin/enhancement) and media fill visual inspections Maintain lab inventory and support non-routine laboratory investigations or validations Follow aseptic techniques and maintain cleanroom standards Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related Life Science required 1–2 years' relevant cGMP industry experience preferred Knowledge of environmental monitoring and microbiological testing techniques Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently, lift up to 25 lbs, gown aseptically, and work in a fast-paced, controlled environment Willing and able to work full-time onsite, with potential overtime and weekends as needed
