Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendentwith a background instructural steelto oversee field operations on self-storage and commercial projects. This role requires extensive travel to project sites and strong leadership to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily site operations for structural steel erection and related trades Coordinate schedules, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain project timelines Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, company policies, and project specifications Conduct site inspections and quality checks to maintain workmanship standards Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and clients Solve problems proactively and keep projects moving forward Maintain accurate daily reports, project documentation, and progress updates Qualifications 5+ years of superintendent or foreman experience in structural steel/construction Strong knowledge of steel erection, drawings/blueprints, and site safety practices Proven ability to manage crews and subcontractors effectively Willingness to travel extensively to job sites (home on weekends when possible) Excellent organizational and communication skills OSHA certification (preferred)
