Certified Dietary Manager We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Certified Dietary Manager to join our Nutritional Services team.

This is an ON-SITE position and is not remote. The position may support various facilities throughout San Luis Obispo County, and the successful candidate must be willing and able to commute to assigned facilities as operational needs arise.

Key Responsibilities: Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the dietary department. Oversee meal planning, preparation, service, sanitation, and food safety practices. Ensure dietary services comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including requirements applicable to Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living facilities. Monitor food quality, portion control, presentation, and resident with nursing and other members of the interdisciplinary team regarding residents' nutritional needs, preferences, and dietary restrictions. Oversee dietary staff scheduling, training, performance, and daily appropriate records and inventory, ordering, food costs, and supplies. Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities. Promote a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment. Respond to resident concerns and work collaboratively to resolve dietary-related issues. This job requires frequent standing, sitting, bending, twisting, walking.
Requirements
Experience: One year as a dietary manager (SNF setting preferred), six (6) months of supervisory experience in dietary management, completion of state approved "Serve Safe" program.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor Degree preferred, completion of CDM program or must be willing to complete CDM program within 6 months of hire. Clearances: Ability to successfully pass background, physical, and TB checks.
