To support the upcoming tax season, the seasonal, remote Seasonal Tax Lead (EA, CPA) will provide leadership to a remote team, monitor tax support communications, and address operational and customer issues while ensuring a positive experience.
Key responsibilities:
Provide strong leadership through various communication channels, motivating team members to meet performance goals
Monitor the Tax Support Slack channel, delivering accurate tax guidance and timely responses to support requests
Address operational and customer issues, ensuring professional resolution of inquiries and escalations
Required qualifications:
Active U.S.-based credentialed professional (Enrolled Agent, CPA, or practicing attorney) with an active PTIN
At least 1 year of experience in a remote supervisory role managing teams of 5 or more
2+ years of professional experience preparing and filing individual (1040) returns using professional tax software
Technically proficient in navigating multiple systems, including professional tax software and Microsoft 365
Equipped with a dedicated workspace, personal computer, and a hard-wired Ethernet connection
