Key Responsibilities: As a Physical Therapist at Atlantic Health Therapy, you will: Administer individualized therapy programs that cater to the unique needs and goals of each patient, ensuring a personalized approach to rehabilitation. Maintain a manageable caseload that allows you to dedicate quality time and attention to each patient's progress and treatment. Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to implement cost-effective treatment strategies aimed at improving patients' physical capabilities. Educate patients about non-surgical alternatives, focusing on enhancing mobility while reducing reliance on medications. Develop comprehensive fitness and wellness programs that promote the achievement of individual health goals and a better quality of life. Conduct regular assessments to evaluate treatment effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to care plans. Keep accurate and detailed documentation of patient treatments and progress using EMR software, particularly Web PT, to ensure continuity of care. Encourage a motivational environment that empowers patients throughout their recovery journey, enhancing their self-efficacy. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to create a well-rounded treatment approach for each patient. Patient Population / Client FocusYour role will primarily focus on outpatient clients seeking rehabilitation services, including post-surgical recovery, injury rehabilitation, and enhancement of athletic performance. Employing evidence-based practices, you will aim for optimal outcomes for a diverse patient population, including athletes, elderly individuals, and those recovering from surgeries or chronic conditions.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess: A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program. An active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, with a clean record free from sanctions or disciplinary actions. Exceptional proficiency in a variety of manual therapy techniques and exercise programming. Strong technical skills in using EMR systems, especially Web PT.Current knowledge of physical therapy methods and trends based on the latest research in the field.

Preferred Experience: We are particularly interested in candidates who have demonstrated: A proven track record of successful patient outcomes in outpatient orthopedic settings. Experience with sports rehabilitation and knowledge of performance-enhancing treatment modalities. A familiarity with evidence-based interventions and current best practices in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits: At Atlantic Health Therapy, we offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
